Smart Batch Studio is the centralized workspace for
managing all batch-related operations within the system. It provides end-to-end
visibility and control over every batch triggered, enabling users to
efficiently create, monitor, and manage high-volume communications across
channels.
From a single interface, users can initiate new batches,
track their progress, and ensure seamless execution of both physical and
digital communications.
Creating a New Batch
To create a batch, navigate to the Smart Batch Studio
and click on the “New Batch” button located at the top-right corner.
The platform supports two primary batch types:
1. Hybrid Mail Batch
2. Batch Jobs (Batch Processing Jobs)
Hybrid Mail Batch
A Hybrid Mail Batch acts as a bridge between physical
mailing and digital communication workflows.
It enables organizations to:
Generate
documents digitally
Route
them for physical printing and dispatch
Maintain
visibility and control within the system
This ensures that even traditional print communications are
managed with the same efficiency and tracking as digital channels.
Batch Jobs
Batch Jobs are designed for executing bulk
communication processes across multiple channels. When creating a Batch Job,
users can choose from the following job types:
a) Quick
Used for regular batch processing scenarios where predefined
templates and data sources are utilized to generate communications.
b) On Demand (Forms, Emails, Calls, and SMS)
Enables real-time or trigger-based communication generation.
c) Standard
Designed for controlled and governed batch processing, Standard Batches provide enhanced operational features such as:
Approval
Workflows – Ensure batches go through necessary validation and
authorization steps before execution
Scheduling
– Plan and automate batch execution at specific dates and times
Proofing
– Review and validate output before final processing to ensure accuracy
and compliance
