In Smart Batch Studio, whenever you are about to submit a Batch Job (Quick / Standard) or a Hybrid Mail Batch, the system provides an option to configure processing settings before the batch is submitted.
This configuration modal appears in the final step of the batch creation process and allows users to define how the batch should be processed and delivered.
A Processing Modal will be displayed, allowing users to choose the preferred processing method for the batch.
The following processing options are available:
1. Schedule Batch
This option allows you to schedule the batch for processing at a specific date and time.
Select the required date and time from the calendar.
The batch will be processed automatically based on the scheduled time.
Once a job is scheduled, users can modify the scheduled processing time directly from the Batch Details page.
Navigate to the Batch Details page. & Click on the Re-Schedule option.
Select the new date and time for the batch.
Save the changes to update the schedule.
Abort a Scheduled Batch
Users can also abort the batch before the scheduled processing time.
Click on the Abort option.
Enter comments explaining the reason for aborting the batch.
Optionally, enable notifications to inform users about the batch cancellation.
Click Confirm to abort the batch.
2. Send Immediately
This option is used to trigger the batch immediately after submission.
If no approval workflow is configured, the batch will be processed instantly.
If an approval workflow is assigned, the batch will be triggered automatically once the batch is approved.
3. Send Manually
This option allows users to manually trigger the batch for printing.
If an approval workflow is configured, the batch must first be approved.
After approval, the batch will not be processed automatically.
Users must manually click the SEND FOR PRINTING / SEND FOR DELIVERY button to initiate the printing process.
Once the required configurations and approval settings are completed, click Submit to create the batch. The job will then be created and processed within Smart Batch Studio.
