Understanding the Job Monitoring Dashboard: Job Queue

Job Queue

The Job Queue in Perfect Doc Studio displays a real-time count of all submitted jobs (documents and emails) triggered via Live Upload, Draft Upload, or API. As jobs move through the system, this live counter decreases until all items are successfully handed over to the Job Processing Centre.



Users can click on the Job Queue card to access detailed batch information. The interface is divided into four key sections, each providing granular visibility into job submissions: 



1. Initiated By
This section provides details about the origin of the job batch, including:
  • The username of the initiator
  • The method of initiation (Live Upload, Draft Upload, or API)
  • The timestamp (date and time) when the job was triggered.


2. Stats
This visual section displays a pie chart summarizing the job's content:
  • Number of documents submitted
  • Number of emails submitted
     This helps users understand the volume and type of communication sent at a glance.


3. Record Details
Jobs may consist of multiple batches. This section lists:
  • Each batch number
  • The count of documents/emails per batch and how many documents/emails has been sent for processing.
  • Batch status (e.g., whether batch reception has started)
     This enables users to track the completeness and stage of each batch.


4. Record Search
This section allows users to locate specific documents within a batch using multiple filters, including:
  • Unique ID
  • Unique Name
  • Channel (e.g., print, email)
  • Language
  • Time of Creation
  • Payload


Additionally, users can click on any slice of the pie chart in the Stats section to automatically apply that segment as a search filter here.
