Initiating Transactions from Communication Channels

In Perfect Doc Studio users can initiate bulk transactions for a document directly from the Channels section without navigating to different channels. If a document has an email and a short message configured within the same channel users can upload a single data file using the Bulk Generate option to generate documents and trigger all related communications in one place.
Users can also choose the environment Draft, Sandbox or Live in which the transactions should be generated. 

For initiating Transactions from Channels, follow these steps:



In the above template, we can see that along with a document, there is also an Email template and an SMS template within a single channel.

1. Hover over “Bulk Generate” to open a pop-up with “Download Sample File” and “Upload File” options.



2. Hover over “Download Sample File” to view the supported file formats and available environments: Draft, Sandbox, Live.



3. Perfect Doc Studio currently supports Excel, JSON, XML, CSV, and TXT (Pipe Delimiter and Tab Delimiter).



4. Select the required Environment and File Type, then click “Download Request Sample.”

5. A sample file will be downloaded to your system.


6. Enter the required data into the sample file.
7. Upload the completed file using the “Upload File” option under the Bulk Generate section.



8. Once uploaded, transactions are triggered for all channels for which data is provided in the sample file.
