Generating PDFs through Excel
Uploads using Dynamic Tables, Images and Repeated Blocks:
When integrating a Dynamic Table
or Repeated block into the design template, an additional column named
"ID" is included in the Excel sheet used for inputting data to
generate PDFs. This column serves to distinguish and separate documents effectively.
For instance, by inputting
"1" into the ID column and proceeding to enter data in the adjacent
columns, the initial document is configured. Subsequently, for the second
document, assigning "2" to the ID column initiates data entry from
the adjacent column. This systematic approach ensures that data entered in
Column 1 is exclusively displayed in the first document, while data inputted in
Column 2 corresponds to the second document.
The Excel sheet incorporates general variables represented as strings, while dynamic elements and repeated blocks are represented as objects within the sheet.
After entering the details, proceed with the standard procedure of dragging and dropping the Excel sheet. The accompanying video provides a demonstration of PDF generation, particularly showcasing the utilization of Dynamic elements and repeated blocks.
Info: Only published templates are visible in the selection area. Therefore, please ensure that your document is published before making a selection.
