Generating On-Demand Documents and Emails Using PDS Forms

PDS Forms enables business users to generate on-demand customer communications instantly, without waiting for batch jobs. By selecting a template, channel, and language, and entering the required values, documents and emails can be generated and delivered in real time through the Generate Form(s) option in the Transaction menu.


Follow These Steps
1. Make sure the document template or email template you want to generate is in Published status. Only templates in Published status can be generated.
2. From the Transactions menu on the left-hand side, click on the Generate Form option.
3. In the Select Template field, start typing the document or email template name to view it in the list.
4. Once the template is selected:
  1. If both Email and Print channel templates are linked, both options will be enabled.
  2. Otherwise, only the available communication channel will be displayed.
  3. Select the required option and proceed.
5. Choose the delivery channel: Print / Email
  1. Print: A ready-to-print version of the document will be downloaded in PDF format.
  2. Email: An email will be sent to the selected recipients.
6. Select the language. All language versions of the template that are in Published status will be listed. Choose your preferred language.
7. If Email is selected, the To Address and CC fields will appear. You can enter multiple email addresses in both fields.
8. Click on the Generate Form option.
9. On the next page, all embedded variables in the selected template will be displayed.
10. Fill in the required fields.
11. Click on Generate Document.
For Print, the document will be downloaded.
For Email, the communication will be sent instantly.
